Remote access should be easy, secure, quick to deploy and used from anywhere, using any media.

WeConnect easily creates a secure network between remote assets using strong encryption techniques, typically found in the financial sector.
WeConnect makes the PC, smartphone, or tablet part of the remote network as if you were actually at that location.
For example, a service technician can use his normal industrial software application and connect from his desk to the PLC, HMI or any type of device that is on the remote network.
With an easy way to remotely access their devices, a WeConnect-customer saves time, money and energy on those costly site visits.

Setup is easy and since WeConnect works with any type of internet connection, there is no limit in the type of media used.
Pick any SIM-card, use ADSL, VDSL2, fibre, cellular or even a satellite connection to access internet.
As the Westermo routers create the connection to WeConnect themselves, public IP addresses are not needed, nor creating holes in the external firewall – which is perfect if the remote asset is on an existing factory network.

WeConnect is designed specifically for the industrial market and one example of this is the ability of WeConnect to cope with identical IP addresses on every remote site.
The user just clicks on the active site in the web-portal and the relevant traffic from his PC will be forwarded to that particular site.
This setting is unique per user so that multiple technicians can be logged into different, or the same, sites.
Sometimes there might be a need for remote devices to talk to each other which is why WeConnect can be configured to allow this should the application require that.
When creating a new secure network, just choose the present type of application and WeConnect will be set up accordingly.
